Terms and Conditions
- Organiser: This raffle is organised by Active Lancashire (Registered Charity 1159832) to raise funds for the Active Lancashire Awards. All proceeds will be allocated to support the event.
- Eligibility: Entry is open to businesses that wish to support the Active Lancashire Awards. Active Lancashire reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.
- Entry Period: The raffle will open for expressions of interest on 18/06/2024 and close on 30/09/2024. Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.
- How to Enter: Businesses can enter the raffle by making a £300 donation to Active Lancashire through BACS payment, details sent to the named contact on the entry form. Each £300 donation entitles the entrant to one raffle entry, confirmed on receipt of payment.
- Prize: One winning entrant will be randomly selected to receive the headline sponsorship package for the Active Lancashire Awards, valued at £8,000. All entrants will be recognised as supporters of the awards.
- Draw Process: The winner will be chosen at random using a fair and impartial method on 01/10/2024. The draw will be witnessed by at least two independent individuals.
- Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within 7 days after the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days, Active Lancashire reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- Publicity: By entering the raffle, participants agree that their business name may be used in promotional materials related to the Active Lancashire Awards. The winner agrees to participate in reasonable post-event publicity and may be required to provide a photo and/or quote for press releases.
- Liability: Active Lancashire accepts no liability for any losses or damages incurred because of participation in the raffle, or from the acceptance or use of the prize.
- Cancellation and Refunds: No refunds will be given for raffle entries once purchased. Active Lancashire reserves the right to cancel or amend the raffle at any time without prior notice.
- Complaints: Any complaints or disputes regarding the raffle should be addressed to Active Lancashire in writing, within 14 days of the draw date.
- Governing Law: This raffle is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants submit to the exclusive authority of the English courts.
- Right to Disqualify Entrants: Active Lancashire reserves the right to disqualify and refund any entrant who, in the opinion of Active Lancashire, does not align with the organisation's values or whose activities may bring the organisation into disrepute. This includes, but is not limited to, organisations that promote discrimination, intolerance, or hatred towards any group of individuals based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic protected by law. The decision to disqualify an entrant is at the sole discretion of Active Lancashire, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
