Funding supports community fridge and fitness project
Active Lancashire have provided £5,000 of funding to The Billy Project CIC to help them continue to provide a community fridge and run fitness sessions for women in in Mill Hill, Blackburn.
The funding was sourced through Sport England’s Together Fund, which Active Lancashire are distributing to activity related groups across Lancashire on their behalf.

Children enjoy free swimming lessons in Morecambe
Nearly 50 children from Heysham and Morecambe received free swimming lessons during the school holiday as part of an initiative developed by the charity Active Lancashire that utilises funding from Sport England.
