170 Bikes Donated to NHS Workers
Active Lancashire have been working in partnership with Lancashire County Council, Connecting East Lancashire, Love to Ride, Cycles Recycled, The Bike Works and Cycle Roots to support NHS front line staff with a complimentary bike. This initiative has seen 170 bikes donated to NHS workers from Blackburn, Burnley, Blackpool, North West Ambulance service and Morecambe Bay hospital trusts.

STEP inclusion resources to support activity while at home
Activity Alliance is sharing the top ways to adapt activities so more people can stay in and work out. The STEP tool is one of the most effective ways to use household items to be active. STEP stands for Space, Task, Equipment and People.

Lancashire-based organisations join forces to donate bikes to NHS workers
An initiative supported by Active Lancashire, Love to ride, Connecting East Lancashire and Lancashire County Council, has seen the first 12 bikes donated to NHS workers from Blackburn and Burnley Hospital Trusts, with many more to come.
