Hi, I’m Adam and I joined Active Lancashire and as Finance and Monitoring Support officer
My previous employment has been predominantly in hospitality, starting part-time when I was at college to progressing to senior manager, I have over 8 years of experience in business management within the hospitality sector, I have experienced multiple companies of all sizes, from independent to national corporations, and I hope these experiences could become useful working for Active Lancashire.
I have always had a love for sport and whilst at university I completed a BA in Sports Studies in 2014 followed by an MSc Sports Business Management in 2018, alongside these I consulted with Team UCLAN on Sports England Funding, and also set up the UCLAN Wakeboarding club.
Outside work, my main sport interests are Rugby League and Formula 1, I always try to make time to go watch my home town team Widnes Vikings as much as I can. I was fortunate to go over to Australia for the 2017 world cup, which was an amazing experience seeing how big Rugby League is over there compared to here. I have a five-year-old Boxer x Labrador called Ramsey, which as you can imagine takes up a lot of time.
