The United Together Pre-release programme is a new initiative to provide an essential link to the wider United Together programme in the community.
The aim is to provide a joined-up approach which engages those near to release whilst still in prison and then supports them immediately from release to help them overcome key barriers they face and to reduce the likelihood of them re-offending.
On release, participants are met by our Challenge Through Sport Initiative ( Support Workers with lived experience, who develop personal action plans with each individual and then link them into support from a whole range of support in the community including our Football Trusts.
