Who can volunteer with Active Lancashire?
Anyone aged 16 and over with a passion for helping others and making a difference in their community is welcome! We value diversity and encourage people from all backgrounds and abilities to get involved.
Do I need any qualifications or experience?
No prior experience is needed. We provide all necessary training and support to help you feel confident in your role.
How much time do I need to commit?
It’s flexible! Whether you can give a few hours a week or just help at one-off events, we’ll work with your availability.
How do I sign up to volunteer?
Simply visit our Volunteer page and complete the short form. A member of our team will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.
What happens after I register?
You’ll receive a welcome email, access to our Volunteer Hub, and details about upcoming opportunities and training.
Will I need a DBS check?
Some roles may require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, especially those involving children or vulnerable adults. We’ll let you know if this applies and support you through the process.
What support will I receive as a volunteer?
