Hello everyone, I am the lead for the Together Fund and also Club Development Support Officer for children and young people. I moved to this role in July having worked on another project for Active Lancashire in Rossendale for Rossendale Youth Works.
My main tasks include; leading the coordination, development and evaluation of Sport England’s Tackling Inequalities Fund, focusing on a community offer to position sport and physical activity as a key component to support positive life choices, youth development and improving physical, social and mental wellbeing and supporting colleagues, partners, target audiences and communities through the development of health and wellbeing offers.
I am also leading the ‘Return to Play’ offer for community sports clubs/organisations to help them grow and be stronger to develop more resilience for the future. Outside of work I volunteer for a Handball Club in Liverpool as the Men’s coach, I have been a member of the club for over 20 years taking up many different roles.
