Hi, my name is Michelle Grimes and my role is Assistant relationship manager (central cluster). Previous to my role with Active Lancashire, I worked in Burnley for 18 years in the Sport and Community Development sector.
I will be working on the More Positive together project supporting local partners and organisations as well as developing our support for Club and volunteers.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family having weekends away in our campervan, as well as attending music festivals – I have been lucky enough to attend Glastonbury 15 times! As well as this I like to keep fit through playing football, rounders and running: I have completed both the London and New York marathons. I’m an avid Burnley FC fan and enjoy watching all sports.
