I’m the Project Lead for the Rossendale Works Employment Team, where I manage a dedicated team of support workers helping local resident’s access employment opportunities and personal development activities. I work closely with local businesses to connect them with job-ready candidates and oversee our Skills Hub, which prepares individuals to re-enter the workforce. Additionally, I contribute to wider initiatives such as the Work Well project, supporting prison leavers as they reintegrate into the community.
Why I Do What I Do
Coming from a difficult childhood filled with unimaginable obstacles, I’ve faced adversity that could have easily defined my future. But through resilience, determination, and the support of a few key people, I found a way forward. That journey shaped who I am today and fuels my passion for helping others.
Now, I lead with purpose—supporting individuals who are facing their own challenges, encouraging resilience in the face of adversity, and working with partners to shape stronger, more inclusive communities. For me, it’s about more than just employment—it’s about empowerment. And most importantly, it’s about leading the ladder down for the next person climbing up.

A Project I’m Proud Of
Rossendale Works has been more than just a job—it’s been my life for the past eight years. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people on some truly incredible journeys, watching lives transform and communities come together. What makes me proudest is not just the outcomes, but the friendships formed, the barriers broken, and the shift in how we work—embracing different visions, sharing good practice, and creating real, lasting change. Being able to share our success across the UK has been the icing on the cake. It’s proof that when we work together, we can build something truly powerful.
