Hi, I’m Sarah and I joined Active Lancashire in June 2017 as a Project and Volunteer Support Officer and I am now a Relationship Manager for Burnley.
I have a varied background based mainly across Sport and Education. In 2011 I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc degree in Exercise Science. After University I worked as a Support Worker with young people who were not attending education and subsequently a Learning Support Assistant at Salford City College. During my time at SCC I also qualified as a Teacher of Sport.
I love sport of any kind and when I’m not in work you will no doubt find me taking part in some form of physical activity! I have competed in amateur boxing for my local boxing gym for the past 6 years and I am also a member of the England Talent Programme. Since starting boxing in 2011 I have won 3 national titles and have competed in many competitions across Europe. I am also a Level 2 qualified coach and love to pass my knowledge on to the next generation.
My next challenge is to beat Martin at table tennis and become the new office champion!
